Hello World.

"New England has a harsh climate, a barren soil, a rough and stormy coast, and yet we love it, even with a love passing that of dwellers in more favored regions." - Henry Cabot Lodge

From its quaint fishing towns along the rocky coast and to its majestic snow covered mountains, New England exudes a sense of charm that is rival to none. Even amidst the big city of Boston, the warm glow of old streetlights are enchanting.

Since I moved here almost 4 years ago, I have been captivated and inspired by the striking, and yet simple, beauty of New England. Around the same time that I moved here, I also picked up a new hobby which, you guessed it, was knitting. Thus a lot of my knitting inspiration comes from my charming surroundings.  Plus, it gets extremely cold here, so New England and knitting go hand in hand. I mean, we did just experience snowpocalypse.

My neighborhood, Brookline Village, just after winterstorm Juno.

In this blog, I will share all of my New England-inspired projects and give you all a glimpse into the area's charming sights. I will save posting on my knitting projects until the weekend when I start working on a February knit-a-long project with the reddit knitting group.
